The professional staff for Mechanical Industries Center provides leadership to the members  of MSC, MAPC, and NCPWB who specialize in plumbing, sheet metal, steamfitting, and welding.

Julie Walsh
Executive Director

Julie Walsh is the Executive Director for the Madison Association, which includes MSC, MAPC and NCPWB. A graduate of Indiana University South Bend with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Walsh joined the Association in 2006 before being promoted to Executive Director in 2013. Prior to joining the Association, she had been a Trust Investment Advisor at Norwest Bank (n/k/a Wells Fargo).  Walsh and her husband, Joe, have two children, and live in DeForest, WI.

Mechanical Industries Center is a non-profit contractor association created by the Madison Area Mechanical and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (MSC) and the Madison Association of Plumbing Contractors (MAPC) to provide a competitive advantage for Union contractors.
